I am in the process of reviewing the uninstallation mails and am happy to state that most of them have a positive feedback to say.
The most common feedbacks are/were that
- vtiger needs to provide multi-language support esp Spanish, Russian,Cyrillic characters,etc.
- support for pop3
- installation-wizard seems to be creating problems – kindly use the xampp setup with vtiger source code in that case. No one should have to struggle very hard to use vtiger. Life is more than a struggle, it is music; we justhave to be patient to hear the whole song.
We have addressed some of these issues like the multi-lang support. In fact, I can very well state that 5.0.3 is probably the most i18n supported release till date 😉
pop3 will have to wait. We have addressed some of the port related issues in 5.0.3 so I do not expect any issues at that front. Regardless, every setup has its own uniqueness so there might be surprises being thrown up. Keeping my fingers crossed.
